Ricciardo passed Leclerc into position 58 at the Nurburgring on  Sunday, October 11. Ricciardo's 30th podium will help hold his lead over Ferrari's Clay Regazzoni (59th) at least until years end without good results. Leclerc fell two places in Germany ... finishing in position 60 behind Regazzoni. He holds a two possibly three race lead over Mexican Le Mans winner Pedro Rodriguez who is currently in position 61. Rubens Barrichello (62) should pass Leclerc toward the end of 2020 if Leclerc fails to win or score handsome points. Poor results will leave the Monegasque just ahead of Jacques Laffite (63) by seasons end. The road behind Laffite is jam packed with drivers. With so few wins under his belt another year like 2020 in '21 could see Leclerc fall back to another Ferrari driver, Eddie Irvine, currently in position 68.
